'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Rumors And News Updates: Former Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev and boyfriend Austin Stowell are fighting rumors that their romance is an attempt to keep Dobrev's co-star Ian Somerhalder a little jealous. Somerhalder and his wife, Twilight star Nikki Reed, are rumored to be hitting the first baby bump in their marriager.

Nina Dobrev, who exited "Vampire Diaries" at the end of Season 6, was spotted "acting really cute" with the "Whiplash" actor at Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member launch dinner party held at the SKY Vault Penthouse, according to an E!News source.

According to the E! witness, Dobrev and Stowell took "really cute photos together" with #CookieSelfie boxes, which contained cookies with pictures of Dobrev's face on it, at the party.

Dobrev and Stowell actor also connected at Tuesday's Fashion Week party.

"You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another," an insider told E!.

But rumors are circling that Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell are faking their PDAs in a showmance to end Dobrev's association with Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed.

Since Nina's Elena character went into  a deep sleep on The Vampire Diaries, her former cast mates have been teasing fans with the character's possible return.

After Nina left The Vampire Diaries, she and Stowell took a vacation to St. Tropez and made sure paparazzi saw it.

There has been speculation that Dovrev and Stowell might get engaged soon, but Celeb Dirty thinks all these PDA may be a show.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's marriage recently hit its first baby bump. Reports say the 36-year-old "The Vampire Diaries" actor and the "Twilight" actress bought their first house and are getting ready to start a family.

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder got married in April after dating for nine months.
