“Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash” release date confirmed for later this year.

As tennis seems to get bigger, Nintendo has decided to jump on the bandwagon and come up with a fun sports video game. Nintendo has just announced the “Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash” released date to be on Nov. 20 in North America and will be sold at $50, as reported by Gamespot.

The game was initially unveiled at the E3 2015 conference for the Wii U. According to Shacknews, the game will come with a few new tricks such as the Jump Shot and the Mega Mushroom. The Jump Shot is an ability where players will be able to vault into the air and slam the ball with a lot of power.

The new Mega Mushroom, on the other hand, is a power-up allows players to grow in both size and strength, as reported on Gamespot. However, it should be noted that the Mega Mushroom power-up pop up in random.

The game will also be reportedly revealing new characters but there are no details as to who they are. Fans don’t have to worry much as Mario, Bowser and Peach will be returning to tennis court.

Players will be able to play a one-on-one match or two-on-two matches depending on their preference.

The “Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash” release date has not yet been announced for Europe or Australia.

“Mario Tennis” is a sports game that was re-released for the Wii gaming console in 2010 and on the Wii U gaming console n 2015. The games success led to a series of other tennis video games with “Mario Power Tennis” and “Mario Tennis Open.” The upcoming “Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash” video game is the third game in the series.
