Gal Gadot Immortalized As Wonder Woman Via DC Collectibles Statue; Will Character Have An Accent?

One of the perks of starring in superhero movies is having the celebrity likeness on merchandise. And Gal Gadot is no exception as a Wonder Woman statue was fashioned that looks a lot like the Israeli celebrity was released by DC collectibles.

"The 13-inch resin statue, by James Marsano, features the updated costume - with new-look tiara, armor styling, sword, shield, bullet-deflecting bracelets, and her trademark golden lariat - and will be available for $150 in March, pegged to the film's March 26 release," said Yahoo.

The Wonder Woman collectible was also posted on Facebook which earned a lot of admirers.

"Its beautiful," one fan wrote. "Kinda reinforces that Gal just might do justice to the role..."

Another said, "She looks amazing!!!!!....just like I knew she would ....I so can't wait to see her in the film!!!!!"

But one fan added that a Wonder Woman collectible featuring Gal Gadot would work well on an 7-inch action figure instead.

Gal Gadot will debut as Wonder Woman in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" film. But the Israeli actress will eventually have her own standalone film, and production will reportedly begin this November in London.

Previously, multiple reports claimed that "Star Trek" actor Chris Pine was cast as Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman. Trevor is the pilot who became the love interest of the Amazon princess.

"Steve Trevor will be no mere love interest for Gadot's Diana Prince, as there will be plenty of action to keep him busy, though plot details remain under wraps," The Wrap said.

Then Umberto Gonzales reported that Sean Bean and Eva Green are being eyed to be the main villains to Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman." The "Game of Thrones" star will play Area the God of War while the "300: Rise of an Empire" actress will play Circe the Sorceress.
