'Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth PS4 Pre-Order Bonus, Release Date Confirmed [VIDEO]

While fans are still awaiting the upcoming series "Digimon Adventure Tri," updates have surfaced regarding the video game "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth."

According to Gematsu, "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth" will arrive for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on Feb. 2, 2016. In addition, those who pre-order the PS4 edition will receive bonus digital content.

Reportedly, this includes a black color variant for Agumon and Gabumon, Beezlebumon Blast Mode and Cherubimon for the North American and European release, an Agumon "Tachi Yagami" costume set, an Agumon male and female "Hero" costume set, as well as additional items.

"Set in the near future, the line between the real and digital worlds is blurred," reads a press release for the game. "Logging into cyberspace is part of everyday life. For one teenager, a harmless on-line chat spawns a chance encounter with a mysterious hacker. Little did this teen know, this brief meeting would lead to a digi-monumental adventure."

Although fans still have a few more weeks before getting a chance to see the first "Digimon Adventure Tri" film, rumors are igniting about mysterious new female character shown in the recent trailers.

Based on the PVs released so far, it appears the introduction of a new female character wearing glasses will take place in "Digimon Adventure Tri." After doing some sleuthing, a fan noticed a detail that links the character with Joe Kida—one of the original Digidestined.

"Because the place where Joe was standing looked so familiar, I decided to search for the place and I found it," wrote Untitled Forever on Tumblr. Yeah, it's the place where the mysterious girl is standing with her Digimon. So there is a possibility that Joe is talking to her."
