Android 6.0 Marshmallow looks a lot like Lollipop but don't let that fool you. After the big fix, some Nexus Android 6.0 problems slipped through the cracks. The update takes up considerable space at 353 MB. Users are advised to download the update over Wi-Fi. They should also check their battery life before installation. Battery life issues are extremely common after major Android updates. 

Google released the source code for its latest version of the Android mobile operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Sony made the full Android M update available for download through its open source binaries based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

The Android Marshmallow 6 release date for Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S5, S6 Edge, Note 5 and Note 4 is coming. Google released the source code for its latest version of the Android mobile operating system.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow 6 is still scheduled for a December release date, based on last year's Lollipop release schedule. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is currently rolling out OTA to Google's Nexus line of devices. The new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update brings tons of new features and enhancements to Nexus users.

The carrier versions of the Motorola second-gen Moto X 2014 was mistakenly reportedly to be excluded from the lineup.

According to Motorola's official statement, only select phones are intended to run the Marshmallow OS. The company released a full list of its devices that are getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Verizon released the Android 5.1.1 to the LG G3 but has yet to provide the changelog for the update.

Sony made software binaries for AOSP Android 6.0 Marshmallow available for download on its developer tools page.
