KCON Announces Official Expansion To South Korea With 4th Hallyu Event Of 2015

The first ever South Korean KCON is set for the beachy paradise island.

KCON is heading to Jeju, South Korea's largest island. This will be the first time that the CJ E&M-sponsored Korean music festival will be held in South Korea. Previous KCON's have been held in the United States and Japan.

"KCON is adding a new, very beachy location--Jeju!" Read the announcement on KCON's official Facebook page. "Our very first KCON 2015 Jeju (with Shinhwa, Roy Kim, Block B and more!) starts November 7th!"

According to Interpark, a Korean ticket sales site, the line up also included vocal group SG Wannabe, girl group SPICA, M.I.B's soloist Kangnam, girl group Poten, soloist Park Boram, and rookie girl group Oh My Girl.

Tickets for KCON Jeju are on sale via Interpark. Tickets for the November event are currently on sale for 9,900 KRW (a bit less than $10 USD.)

All fans who attend KCON 2015 Jeju will also receive a LED bracelet as a special gift.

KCON was first held in California in 2012. In 2015, along with Jeju, KCON was held in California and New Jersey in the United States, and in Saitama, Japan.
