Cameron Diaz reportedly felt "devastated" that she has yet to get pregnant. Despite this, the "Annie" actress was doubling her efforts to conceive with the help of husband Benji Madden.

According to an item on OK! Magazine, the newlyweds have been trying for a child since getting hitched earlier this year.

"Cameron and Benji have been trying for a baby ever since they said 'I do' in January," an insider revealed to Radar as cited by the source above. "She's devastated that it hasn't happened yet!"

Despite the heartbreak, the "Annie" actress was purportedly doing all she can to make the pregnancy happen. She apparently has been eating healthy to ensure her fertility. She also has reportedly been "scheduling sex."

Earlier this month, it was even revealed that Cameron Diaz apparently swam in the Aboriginal waters in Australia to try and get pregnant just like Nicole Kidman when she conceived her first child with Keith Urban.

The move was not a success though and now the actress has apparently resorted to IVF treatments, according to Starpulse. It was even mentioned in the report that the "Annie" actress' puffy face might be proof that she's trying IVF.

"IVF can cause the appearance of bloat," Dr. Andrea Fernandez shared to Star Magazine as cited by the source above. "Women in their late 30s and early 40s are more sensitive to the process and can have greater swelling."

Rumors that Cameron Diaz may be pregnant have been swirling since August as reported then by Mail Online. At the time, she was spotted trying to hide her belly.

There were even rumors afterwards, as cited by Hollywood Life, that the "Annie" actress may be carrying twins as her husband Benji Madden is a twin. The couple has kept mum despite being directly asked by paparazzi about the baby rumors.
