Lee Hye Young Gives Fans Sneak Peek At Her Upcoming Art Exhibition In Harper's Bazaar

Actress Lee Hye Young proved she's a multifaceted entertainer in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. Not only is she the designer of her own brand, Miss Dorothy, and the writer of several fashion books - she's a painter as well! Lee gave readers a sneak-peak at her upcoming exhibition, filled with self-portraits and original creations.

For the photoshoot, the beauty modeled paint splattered and floral dresses by Balenciaga, Gucci and Jil Sander. The ensembles matched perfectly with her paintings, which were full of bright colors, flowers and pop-culture icons.

During her interview, the star revealed she draws inspiration from her dreams and everyday life. When discussing a painting with giant eyes that had tentacles of color, she explained, "It's beautiful eyes looking at a target. I noticed all the beautiful eyes around me and saw the way people looked in my direction."

One of the star's biggest canvases features Jack Skellington from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Lee described the creative process behind the painting as therapeutic. She revealed, "Childhood memories filled with animations and characters have an influence on me. I exist and live there even after death. I don't need the picture to remain because it is embedded in my mind and I am in harmony with it. Furthermore, the sun, moon and universe encompass everything, including death."
