Psy "Gentleman" MV Follows After "Gangnam Style", Amasses Over 30MM Views In 24 Hours!

The music video for Psy's brand new song "Gentleman" has been released.

April 13, Psy released the music video of his comeback song "Gentleman" during his concert "Happening" that took place at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul.

Psy had already revealed that the choreography for "Gentleman" will contain the "Arrogance Dance" that was featured in the choreography of "Abracadabra" by the Brown Eyed Girls. The music video also featured the members of the MBC TV show "Infinity Challenge".

Critics stated that the music video for "Gentleman" follows after the same direction as "Gangnam Style" instead of featuring something new and fresh.

As they have done so before in the music video of "Gangnam Style", comedians Yoo Jae Suk and Noh Hong Chul appeared in the video wearing eye catching clothing that could be described as ridiculously humorous. Noh Hong Chul's signature dance was featured once again in "Gentleman".

The biggest difference between "Gentleman" and "Gangnam Style" is that the new video contains more comical scene and that the heroine has changed from HyunA to Gain from the Brown Eyed Girls. Also, all the members of the MBC TV show "Infinity Challenge" appeared in the music video of "Gentleman" to add humor

The lyrics of "Gentleman" was written by Psy himself and the music was created in collaboration with Yoo Gun Hyung. The catchy lyrics in the song drew attention while the fans keep their hopes up high for the global success of "Gentleman".

Proving that Psy is much anticipated worldwide for this new song, the music video has had 32MM views in 24 hours from Youtube.  The huge success of Gangnam Style definitely had people wanting to tune in to Psy's latest offering.
