Fans are in for more delights from Square Enix as the game studio confirmed that they are planning to re-introduce more JRPG games to the PS4 console by doing a remake.

Here's the company's official statement courtesy of gaming website VG24/7.

"We will revitalize some of our strong IPs in ways that meet the needs of the modern gaming market. For example, we will take an IP developed for earlier generations of game consoles and recreate it for the latest consoles, while also proactively developing versions for play on smart devices," said the company.

But what's more exciting is the fact that Square Enix will try to bring their games to the VR platform.

"In addition, we will also explore possibilities involving VR (virtual reality) and other new platforms."

"We want our longtime fans to relish reliving past experiences with a freshness that only the latest in technology can provide, while at the same time have new customers enjoy the IP as though it were brand new."

With that said, fans over at VG24/7 gave their own suggestions on which games Square Enix should give a remake treatment. As usual, the other "Final Fantasy" games are the favorites to be given a PS4 remake and one of them is the classic "Final Fantasy: Tactics."

According to user Triscy, "I'd really love a newer 'Final Fantasy Tactics.' While the original is amazing, I want to see them bring back the tactical games that I loved."

User Pen Winter, meanwhile, said an FF6, 8 and 9 remake will be amazing as well as for Tactics.

"FF6 and maybe 8+9, in my honest opinion of course (should get one). Never played a tactics FF, but I'm sure they deserve a remake too," he wrote.
