Leighton Meester became active again on Twitter to the delight of her fans, a month after news came out that she has already given birth to her baby daughter.

On her Twitter post though, the actress-singer talked about another girl in her life -- singer Dana Williams -- whom she collaborated with about a year ago.

"My girl @IamDanaWilliams getting all the props she deserves," she wrote to share a feature about Williams' new music video "Fooling Myself."

Dana Williams was grateful that the actress-singer took time to share the article.

Even Mrs. Adam Brody's followers agreed with her post. Some expressed their happiness to hear from the actress somehow and asked about her new baby.

Meanwhile, others hoped that the pair would be working on another collaboration again soon. The pair worked on a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" last year but have known each other for years.

"I've known Leighton [Meester] for a long time," Williams said around the same time that news about her new song came out. "We went to middle school together and she was really close friends with my sister. I started playing shows, and she came to see one of them and we just realized we had a similar music sensibility, so she just started asking me to open for her when she had a show."

Mrs. Adam Brody has been very private about her life since last year. She was last spotted in public in July looking ready to give birth at any day. Since then, she has also kept quiet on social media.

Just last month, news came out that Leighton Meester was indeed nearing her baby's birth at the time she was last seen as TMZ got a birth document saying the actress gave birth on the first week of August. She had a baby girl whom she and Adam Brody named Arlo Day.
