'Burnout Paradise' To Be Included In Line Up of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Titles

"Burnout Paradise" will soon be among the games which can be played through the backwards compatibility feature of Xbox One.

This was announced by UK- based developer Criterion Games in a Twitter exchange with a fan, reported Gamespot.

Although a release date hasn't been announced for "Burnout Paradise," the company said that it was closely working with Microsoft to ensure that the critically-acclaimed racing game will included in the lineup of Xbox One titles.

Currently, backwards compatibility can only be accessed by Xbox One Preview Program members only.

However, the feature will now be made available for all gamers, as it will be part of the New Xbox One Experience which will be rolled out in November.

By the time of "Burnout Paradise's" release, more than a hundred Xbox 360 games will be supported by the backwards compatibility update of Xbox One.

More Xbox 360 titles are expected to be added to the list of Xbox One backwards compatibility games in the coming months.

In the meantime, "The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season" will be available for free Xbox One Preview members until Nov. 18, according to the Ecumenical News.

The game has five parts and exists in the same universe as the original "The Walking Dead" comic books and the TV series by by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.

"Play as Lee Everett, a convicted criminal who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead," Game developer Telltale Games said in its description of the game.

"With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer him redemption in a world gone to hell," the game description added.

These developments are expected to bring more excitement to Xbox One gaming experience, as Microsoft gears up for the release of its backwards compatibility update next month.
