Guns N’ Roses Reunion Inching Closer! Is Gilby Clarke The Key For Them To Reunite?
Every day that passes, the possibility of a Guns N' Roses reunion gets more likely as former members of the band express their desire to play with their old bandmates.
In a report by Alternative Nation, former guitarist Gilby Clarke spoke with Steven Adler and they indeed talked about reuniting.
"Of course, it was a great band. If Slash and Duff [McKagan, bass] came back, it would be special. I would hope I could be a part of it if that ever happened."
He also can't help but reminisce about the good times they had and he shared how he felt during those times.
"I had a great time during those years. We were young and didn't give a shit what anybody thought. Most people's memories are of the drama and negative shit," he said via Blabber Mouth. "I remember being a part of a very powerful musical unit. Everybody cared deeply about the live shows and the music that was recorded. I enjoyed that."
"I really felt we were on the same page musically and were passionate about our performances."
As a fan, Clarke said that he wouldn't like nothing more but to see them back together, giving the old and new generation a taste of their passion.
"I'm in the same boat like everybody else, I want to see the first five guys do it," Clarke referring to the possible Guns N' Roses reunion. "That would be great to see them do Appetite. If it happens I think it would be great. Do I really think it is really going to happen? No, I really don't."
With Axl Rose and Slash mending their relationship, will fans see a Guns N' Roses reunion soon? Stay tuned.
