‘Pokemon Z’ Release Date Set In 2016; Zygarde To Fuse With Xerneas And Yveltal In New Game?

Various rumors claimed that "Pokemon Z's" release date has been set anytime in 2016.

Despite the lack of any new "Pokemon" game announcements from Nintendo, many have already been speculating that it will come out next year for Nintendo 3DS, according to PC Advisor.

This is going to be the successor of "Pokemon X" and "Y" which were both released in October 2013.

The tech site further narrated that fans have been "growing increasingly excited about the next Pokémon game from Nintendo" considering that "new details about its legendary Pokémon Zygarde have emerged."

Accordingly, the release date of "Pokemon Z" comes with great surprises especially that several gamers have speculated that Zygarde will somehow create union with the previous characters, Xerneas and Yveltal of "Pokemon X" and "Y," respectively.

"We're expecting to see Cell Zygarde's scattered throughout the world in 'Pokémon Z' that we'll collect in order to level up Zygarde to 50 percent," the report stated.

PC Advisor continued by saying, "It's thought that it will fuse with the other two Legendary Pokémon as part of 'Pokémon Z,' and that's why it has red cells on its left wing and blue on its right wing."

In the meantime, amid the clamor for the release date of "Pokemon Z," iDigital Times reported that Build-A-Bear and The Pokemon Company have just partnered to introduce plush Pikachus, the most popular Pokemon character, not just online but also to the Build-A-Bear workshops in North America, Europe and Australia.

These Pikachu plush toys that can be assembled will only be made available via Build-A-Bear.

"Pokémon and Build-A-Bear Workshop both create memorable experiences for fans of all ages," shared The Pokémon Company International's director of licensing Monika Salazar. ""We are delighted to partner with a brand like Build-A-Bear Workshop that represents fun and friendship."

The report bared that the customization options for Pikachu in-store, which includes a PokeBall hoodie, is something that many fans may want to look into first prior to the "Pokemon Z" release date.
