“Gravity Rush 2” release date in North America confirmed.

Fans of the cult-hit “Gravity Rush” will be getting a double dose of their favorite videogame next year. Apart from getting a “Gravity Rush Remastered, “ there is going to be a “Gravity Rush 2” release date set for 2016.

The video game follows 2 ladies, Kat and Raven, who have the ability to manipulate the gravity in a number of different ways. They are able to switch in on or off with a snap of their fingers resulting in dynamic fights and gameplay.

According to IGN, Kat will have three different gravity styles: Normal, Lunar and Jupiter. The Lunar option will reduce the force of gravity, this in turn makes the player quicker and lighter. The Jupiter option, on the other hand, increases gravity making her slower that her normal pace. While Kat may seem to be at a disadvantage when it comes to speed, she becomes pretty powerful in the Jupiter gravity style.

Playstation Blog reported that “Gravity Rush 2” will also be having a Tag Battle system where players are paired up with an AI- controlled character for battles that need more than just one player.

The exact “Gravity Rush 2” release date has not yet been announced but it has been announced that the game will be coming to Playstation 4 next year. There are a couple of gameplay videos available for those who are itching to get a glimpse of the game on Playstation 4.

In other updates, “Gravity Rush Remastered” will be available in North America on Feb. 9, 2016 and will cost $29.99. It will also be exclusively available at the Playstation Store.
