Ariana Grande Vs. Ariel Winter? Modern Family Actress Responds To Twitter Bully Over Body Image
A unidentified man posed a question on Twitter: Ariana Grande vs. Ariel Winter? His reason for choosing the "Modern Family" actress over the "One Last Time" singer revealed him to be an online bully. The two ladies stood together - and stood up against online bullying.
"Got asked if I'd prefer @arielwinter1 or @ArianaGrande lol, it wud definitely be @arielwinter1 curves are sexy sticks aren't," the person posted, reportedly on Twitter.
Grande reposted the comment on her Instagram account, with an image of her response.
"sigh... tweets, comments, statements like this are not okay. About anyone!!!" she wrote in her response. "We live in a day and age where people make it IMPOSSIBLE for women, men, anyone to embrace themselves exactly how they are. Diversity is sexy! Loving yourself is sexy! You know what is NOT sexy? Misogyny, objectifying, labeling, comparing and body shaming!!! talking about people's body's as if theY're on display ASKING for your approval/opinion. THEY ARE NOT!!!! CELEBRATE YOURSELF. CELEBRATE OTHERS. The things that make us different from one another make us BEAUTIFUL. BODY BOUNDARIES. LOVE LOVE LOVE ONLY."

Ariel Winter spoke out about the original mean tweet as well. The "Modern Family" actress re-grammed Ariana's post.
