Maggie-Centric 'Walking Dead' Season 6 Episode 5 Will End With Sign Of Hope For Glenn [SPOILERS]

With "The Walking Dead" fans heavily focused on Glenn's final fate, Season 6 episode 5 will seemingly capitalize on that, according to recent spoilers.

Titled "Now," "Following a number of setbacks, the mood in Alexandria grows grim for the sheltered citizens." According to Spoilers Guide's sneak peeks of Season 6 episode 5, it appears that Maggie agrees with that sentiment.

Recent spoilers confirm that Glenn's fate will not be fully addressed in this "Walking Dead" episode, and will focus entirely on the characters in Alexandria, particularly Maggie. But according to TV Guide, "even though many of them are ready to call time of death, the episode ends with a sign of hope that Glenn might not be out of the picture entirely."

While many viewers are predicting that Glenn is alive, some observers feel the prolonging of this storyline has been detrimental to "The Walking Dead."

"The thing to remember, and this really ruins things if he survives, is that unless Nicholas landed perfectly aligned to him, his head, legs and possibly arms are exposed to the crowd," commented Kevin. "If he walks out unscathed...boo to that."

Recently TVLine spoke with executive producer Scott Gimple regarding various spoilers of "The Walking Dead" Season 6. During this chat, Gimple clearly stated that he was "not going to answer" whether Glenn is dead or not.

"I definitely want viewers to have an emotional experience either way. There are twists and turns, and bad things happen," teased Gimple.

"Ultimately, it's all part of a bigger story. I hope that the audience will just wait to see the greater story and see how it all plays out. They're kind of stopping in the middle of the movie, which they have to because there's a week between the reels. But we're still in the middle of the movie."
