Drinking Problem Root Of Jimmy Fallon Injury News? ‘Tonight Show' Host To Be Fired?

Jimmy Fallon's numerous injury news has been talked about for months as they never seem to end. Now, reports have surfaced that his "out-of-control" partying and drinking was reportedly the root of the problem and NBC executives were apparently starting to panic over it.

In report on the New York Post, it was mentioned that the "Tonight Show host has been under so much stress since taking over the talk show that his escape has apparently been through a bottle.

"There is so much money at stake, the pressure is enormous," an insider told the source above. "[Besides doing the show daily], they're looking for the next viral thing to hit. He has to do calls with affiliates and sponsors."

"He has no outlet," the insider added. "He's young. He's still learning. You forget he hasn't been doing this 10 years."

As reported by Variety back in August, Jimmy Fallon has been locked in as the "Tonight Show" host until 2021 before his nonstop injury news became the talk of the town.

Rumors recently surfaced that aside from NBC executives, Jay Leno has also apparently gotten concerned with the alleged drinking problem and has purportedly asked executives to fire the comedian. According to Gossip Cop though, the rumors were nonsense as Leno himself has thrown great support for Fallon since taking over the show. He even was a guest on the show just last month.

Jimmy Fallon's injury news first happened back in June when he tripped over a rug at his home as recounted by Inquisitr. After spending several days in the ICU to save his ring finger, he got back to work and was alright again. But shortly after, he chipped his tooth trying to open his medicine bottle. Just two weeks ago, he also injured his good and yet to be harmed hand when he tripped during an event on Harvard while holding a liquor bottle.
