More UFO sightings have been caught on video have been revealed in the internet as of late and a recent one from Southern California wowed a lot of people.

In a recent report by CNN, a mysterious light appeared on the sky off the coast of South California, which the military quickly revealed that the light was because of a planned missile test.

According to the report, the Pentagon revealed that what was believed to be a UFO sighting that was caught on video was actually a ballistic missile submarine test by the Navy Strategic Systems Programs from USS Kentucky.

"The tests were part of a scheduled, ongoing system evaluation test," the statement revealed. "Launches are conducted on a frequent, recurring basis to ensure the continued reliability of the system. Each test activity provides valuable information about our systems, thus contributing to assurance in our capabilities."

Witnesses swarmed the social media sites on Nov. 7 and reported the incident of what they called a UFO sighting video.

"It was very wild watching this in the sky," witness Julien Solomita told The Guardian. "I can't really say what I thought it was because I've never experienced anything remotely close to it."

"It intensified then shot across the dark sky, leaving a green trail," another witness, Kevin Stack said. "Then it fizzled and appeared like a dying dot on an old television screen."

"At first, it looked like a gold shooting star," witness Matt McKee told CNN.

"It went from gold and small, burning for a few minutes and turned into this blue spot light. Like at an event held at night -- not like shooting out at us, but a white bright light," he said.

"What was weird, the tail was light and wide and it got bluer and bluer. Then it just burned out and went away."
