All 6 Original April Members Pose For @Star1

All original April members posed for the November issue of @Star1.

The DSP Media rookie girl group only debuted back in August, but their leader Somin recently announced her departure in order to concentrate on her studies. However, fans get once last glimpse of the group as six in the magazine pictorial. For their wardrobe, the idols modeled knit tops, suede skirts, multi-colored cardigans and shorts by brands like Rebecca Minkoff and Tory Burch.

During the interview, Hyunjoo talked about the different songs in the group's Dreaming EP. She stated, "The title song is 'Dream Candy' and it's a refreshing, youthful song that cheers on people so they fulfill their dreams. Then there's 'Luv Me x3,' which is about a girl who has an unrequited love and the chorus melody is unique. There are a total of six songs and most are bright and lovely. Among them, 'Thriller' is the only one with a different concept."

When asked about what the girls concentrated on the most for their debut, the group chose dancing.

Yena explained, "We practiced a lot. Each song has great effort put into it as we try to always get the choreography correct."

Chaewon added, "I practiced expressions a lot. In the mirror, I practiced singing, gestures, facial expressions and even did research. You need to practice how you'll look on camera."

April will make a comeback this month as a five member group.
