With the first of the "Digimon Adventure Tri" movies set to premiere soon, a new photo has surfaced showcasing the new DigiDestined and her Digimon.

This week, a photo began circulating online—possibly from a cafe in Japan that is promoting "Digimon Adventure Tri"—showcasing the eight original DigiDestined and new character Meiko Mochidzuki. In addition, there is also a clear image of what is assumed to be the Rookie level of her Digimon.

"I can't tell if it's just because I'm used to the original eight Digimon or if the new Digimon just feels really out of place in comparison to the rest design-wise," commented reddit user 2pikachu8.

The first time fans got a glimpse of this new Digimon was during the five-minute preview for "Reunion." Although it hasn't officially been confirmed, the name circulating the web calls it Meikumon.

"Alphamon does not say a word and appears to be hunting Meikumon," alleged a 4chan user.

Allegedly, Meiko is from Tottori and transfers to Tai's class during the "Digimon Adventure Tri" timeline. She is "searching for something in Odaiba and gets involved in battles with Digimon." It is possible, then, that Meikumon is the catalyst for her Digimon adventure.

The "Digimon Adventure Tri" six-part film series is a sequel to the original 1999 "Digimon Adventure" anime series. The new films were created in celebration of the 15-year anniversary since the original anime series premiere.

On Monday, the website Tamer Union released information on an upcoming NicoNico live stream for "Digimon Adventure Tri," featuring voice actors Takaishi Takeru, Kido Jyo, Enoki Junya and Ikeda Junya. 

The live stream will begin at 7:50 a.m. EST on Nov. 20, 2015.
