Reply 1988 cast members Ryu Jun Yeol and Ryu Hye Young became a winter couple for the December issue of @Star1. The duo modeled camel cardigans and blazers while showing their great chemistry.

During the interview, the stars talked about their characters in the series. Hye Young plays Bora, the older sister of the female protagonist Deok Sun (who is portrayed by Girl's Day member Hyeri). When asked about the possibility of her character getting a love interest, the actress revealed that her costar Ahn Jae Hong asked the chief director to give them a love story.

Meanwhile, Jun Yeol expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a big production. He plays Jung Hwan, one of Deok Sun's best friends and her possible future husband. Regarding the great interest for his character, he stated, "I'm a newbie who has just kicked off my acting career but I'll do my best."

Reply 1988 airs every Friday and Saturday at 19:50 P.M. KST on tvN. Although this is the third installment of the Reply series, the drama still has a strong audience and the fourth episode had an 8.3% viewership rating.
