"Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir" Storybook Edition is the exclusive special PS4 edition.

The trend may be to have older video games remastered, but that just goes to show how much gamers love the game since its release. With the advancements in gaming technology and development, new life can be given to games that were made years ago. 

"Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir" still retains the same story and gameplay as the original version, but it gets all the bells and whistles with its HD remaster upgrade. The graphics and art are given a second life as the imagery of a story inspired by Norse mythology is pushed to its fullest potential.

According to Gamezone, the "Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir" Storybook Edition includes the PS4 copy of the game as well as a 64-page hard cover art book, an Odin sphere potion recipe T-shirt, a collector's edition metal slipcase, an art print and the collector's edition outer box.

The standard edition versions for Playstation 4 ($59.99), Playstation 3 ($49.99) and PS Vita ($39.99) will include a softcover version of the the art book at various participating retailers, as reported by Gematsu.

The "Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir" Storybook Edition is available for $79.99 in Spring 2016 in North America and in Jan. 14, 2016 in Japan. There is no definite North American release date but it will be available on all Playstation platforms.

"Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir" is originally a 2D fantasy action RPG which was remade in HD. The game tells the stories of five different protagonists with interlocking stories connected to the royalty of each of the five warring nations in the world of Erion.
