In a report by Bleeding Cool, Jeffrey Dean Morgan is officially casted to play Negan in the show, who was seen in the comics as the one who took out the life of one of the main characters, Glenn.

According to the report, however, the actor would appear toward the end of the season and would have most of the story of season 7 surrounding his character.
