'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Release Date News: "Attack on Titan" or "Shingeki no Kyojin," one of the hottest anime/manga finished its season 1 and fans are getting impatient for any clues to the the next season. Attack on Titan went from cult manga to one of Japan's most popular animes after it was adapted into a TV show.

Manga Helpers speculated that  "Attack on Titan Season 2" chapter 73 will focus on the death of Levi Ackerman, who will will try to save Eren Yaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert of the Survey Corps.

Fans were less pleased that Attack On Titan, or Shingeki No Kyojin got a a live action adaptation. At first fans were excited about the Attack on Titan live action movies, but after the hype built during the long wait fans were disappointed when the movies were released. Early reviews from Japan tore the movies apart. Most reviewers focused on the incomprehensible changes to the plot.

"Everything feels superficial," wrote Kotaku in its review. "The title says Attack on Titan, and there are characters with names I've heard in Attack on Titan. But they're not the same characters. Key moments are cast aside. Character motivations are either reworked, dissipated, or disregarded entirely. What makes these characters tick either isn't shown or has been written out of the script entirely."

Kawakubo Shintaro recently told Antenna the manga is 60% done, which would mean Attack on Titan only 27 volumes left.  'Attack on Titan Season 1' covered the first 34 chapters of the manga which,  which ran 4 story arcs including; "The Fall of Shiganshina," "104th Trainees Squad," and "Battle of Trost District."

The Titans penetrated the Wall Rose and now they are set to overthrow the corrupt and probably fake king. The Reiss family is the real royal family of the kingdom. The revolt will be led by Captain Erwin Smith.

It was revealed that the Reiss family can turn themselves into Titan. According to speculations, Kevin Ackerman, who is Levi's Uncle will try to eat Eren Yaeger in order to get the Coordinate, which allows the user to control Titans.  But Kevin won't be able to keep Eren Yaeger down because only a Reiss in can get the Coordinate.

"Attack on Titan" is undoubtedly one of the most popular anime series out today. It's freshman season found major success and fans have been eagerly anticipating its follow-up. While we know it will arrive in 2016, it has also been reported that season two will be the last for the popular anime series.
