Latest news about Nina Dobrev revealed the former "The Vampire Diaries" actress was busy with her movie career. Despite this, there were still speculations that she may return to the TV show as she seemingly appeared to just be biding her time in choosing her next projects.

During a session with Interview magazine, the Elena Gilbert actress herself admitted that she's not in a hurry to get movie or TV deals after her exit from the Mystic Falls universe.

"Very, very carefully," she shared of the manner she chooses her next movie after spending six years doing the TV series. "Like I said earlier, there's been a lot of offers, but I don't need to work right away. I'd rather wait for something really good-to be excited about a role, or a director, or a project. I'm not just going to accept something because it's a lot of money."

"I only want to keep moving up and up in terms of quality and be careful with perception," she added. "I don't just want to do things that are the pretty girl with lots of makeup, I want to get into the gritty stuff and get down and dirty and dark and really feed my soul and not my vanity." 

According to the latest news and rumor on Celeb Dirty Laundry, the "The Vampire Diaries" cast wanted Nina Dobrev back because they apparently were tired of Ian Somerhalder attitude on the show.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have yet to speak up on this latest gossip. The Elena Gilbert actress though has not given any indication she wanted to come back on the show telling Entertainment Weekly "that chapter is closed." Just a few days ago, she even shared a photo on the set of her new movie, "Crash Pad," clearly showing her moving on.

Fans of Nina Dobrev have yet to move on though after her "The Vampire Diaries" exit. Amid the latest news on her career via Instagram, fans send her comments to come back to the TV series.
