"Odin Sphere" release date already happening next year.

As more and more games are getting rebooted and remastered, fans of older generation cult favorites are hoping their favorite game would see the light once again. "Odin Sphere" fans were lucky that Atlus had decided to bring back the colorful and complicated web of stories in "Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir." 

Last month, the first character whose action trailer was released was Gwendolyn's and since then gamers have been looking forward to seeing the other action trailers to see how much has changed. Four new trailers of Cornelius, Mercedes, Oswald and Velvet were released. 

The first thing many of the gamers will notice, especially if they have played the original game back in 2007, is that the graphics got a serious upgrade. While it still follows the same side-scrolling gameplay, the graphics have drastically improved since the game was released.

The "Odin Sphere" released date in Japan is on Jan. 14, 2016 for Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita. The North American "Odin Sphere" release date has not yet been announced, but it has been confirmed that it will be happening in late 2016, according to Playstation Lifestyle.

"Odin Sphere" is a 2D fantasy action RPG video game that was originally released in May of 2007. The game was considered a spiritual successor to a 1997 game called "Princess Crown" where inspiration anc concepts came from Norse Mythology.

The game has give stories where each of the protagonists in each story is connected to the royalty of the five warring nations in the world of Erion. Since these five stories overlap and are interconnected to one another, the protagonist of one story may turn out to be the antagonist in another.
