"Starpoint Gemini 2" to get a release date for Xbox.

After the game was released last year on PC, the space simulator game has been official annouced for Xbox One.

According to Gamezone, Little Green Men and Iceberg Interactive's "Starpoint Gemini 2" Xbox release date won't have anticipating gamers wait for too long.

"In Starpoint Gemini 2, it has been two years since the end of the second Gemini war, the situation in the wartorn system is further from resolution than ever," as noted on the site. "The collection of freedom fighters named Gemini League is now reduced to a small group, with no power or influence, after losing their leaders."

"The Empire meanwhile, has used the re-opened Starpoint to occupy the once renegade Gemini sector - and beyond. A multitude of Imperial warship fleets and mammoth motherships have crushed every trace of opposition. The situation was looking bleak, when they suddenly halted their armada and re-shifted their focus on fortifying Starpoint with staggering numbers.

"Rumours soon spread that they were afraid of something coming after them through the T-gate, from what was supposed to be the core of the Empire."

A video announcing the game's move to Xbox was posted on their Youtube Channel. The footage is of battles taking plac in space and looks like it would be a lot of fun played on a game console.

One the unique features of the game is that players are given as much freedom as possible when it comes to creating their own characters. Players get to choose whatever professions suits their playing style, but would have to choose from three different classes. The Commander class specializes in upgrading one's fleet, Gunner class is an expert at offensive capabilities and Engineer class is a combination of the first two plus additional support skills.

There are no price details available for "Starpoint Gemini 2" Xbox One version, but the game will be available on Dec. 11, 2015.

"Starpoint Gemini 2" is a full 3D space role playing video game in a world known as the Gemini System, a system that consists of various cohesive star systems. Players will have to be in charge of one space vessel and explore the universe as they complete various missions.
