Girls' Generation to Hold First Solo World Tour Since Debut with 'Girls & Peace' this June

Popular girl group Girls' Generation will begin their first solo world tour since debut this June.

Starting on June 8-9, the group will be holding a concert in Seoul to kick off their '2013 Girls' Generation World Tour-Girls & Peace'.

This tour is special because this will be their first solo world tour since their debut. 

The group has been on world tours with their agency SM Entertainment as a group, but not a tour on their own.

It is also their first time since 2011 for holding a solo concert in Korea as well.

Seoul concert ticket reservations will begin on May 9 at 8 AM KST through the G-Market website here.

Earlier this year, they held their Japan arena tour, 'GIRLS' GENERATION II~Girls&Peace~Japan 2nd Tour' from February to April. They performed in 7 different cities for a total of 20 performances.

They met with 200,000 fans and held a successful concert.

They hold the record for having the most fans attend a concert in Japan for a K-Pop girl group.

Girls' Generation also recently made a comeback this year on January 1.

They released their title song, "I Got a Boy" and received and overwhelming response from not only Asia but also around the world.

Girls' Generation is a 9 member girl group that debuted under SM Entertainment. They have become one of the top groups in Asia and have fans all around the globe.

They are most famous for their songs such as "Gee" and have appeared on many foreign show programs and performed.

They are also known for always releasing fun and feminine songs with cute dance moves that are easy to follow.
