Cards Against Humanity Black Friday Deal Earns Big, Company Reveals How The Earnings Were Spent

"Cards Against Humanity's" Black Friday deal was definitely put into good use.

The Black Friday madness is something that happens once a year, but despite all the chaos that just happened, it's good to just step back and enjoy the awesome deals that just happened.

"Cards Against Humanity's" Black Friday deal was a total steal at $5 from the original $25 price. While the company is well-known for pulling pranks, such as having boxes filled with poop selling for $5, there were a lot of people who availed of their Black Friday discount.

"This year we offered our customers the ultimate Black Friday experience - the ability to buy nothing from us for $5. We took our entire store offline, and put up a simple payment form where people could give us $5," stated the company on Huffington Post.

While the cards may be against humanity, the company isn't in the same boat. They have reportedly donated nearly $4 million to various charitable organizations since 2012.

According to Gamezone, there were around 13, 000 people who availed of the "Cards Against Humanity" Black Friday deal. Their earnings amounted to $71,145, which instead of donating them to a charity, they split the earnings amongst the employees of the company.

A blog post on the Cards Against Humanity website explained in detail how the company employees spent their "bonuses."

It's safe to say that, while they did spend on some personal items, such as iPads, a vacuum and the like, each of the employees did donate to their charities of choice. Some of the charities they donated to were the Greater Chicago Food Depository, American Refugee Comitte-Syrian Refugee Response, Planned Parenthood, For the Love of Labs Animal Rescue, Charity: Water, Lincoln Park Community Shelter, PAWS Chicago and many others.

A couple of them even decided to break down their bills into smaller bills to hand out to those having a hard time.

The "Cards Against Humanity" game is available on their website and selected retailers for $25.

"Cards Against Humanity" is a party card game where 3 to more than 20 players have to fill-in-the-blank statements using mature-content phrases on the cards. The game is available as a free download that players can print to create their own cards and it is alos available for purchase in a published hardcopy. The game was a successful Kickstarter campaign that gained acclaim for its simple concept.
