"Battleborn's" Toby the Destroyer is added to its character roster.

There are already 25 playable characters in the game upon it's release. Each of these characters come with unique abilities, weapons and an "ultimate abilitiy" as well. 

According to IGN, Gearbox announced the new character, "Battleborn's" Toby the Destroyer, at the Playstation Experience Event. The newest hero to be added to the playable characters is a killer penguin that rides a giant mech. While gamers would be looking forward to playing the new character on the open beta, "Battleborn" Toby the Destroyer is only available to those who use the Playstation 4 game console. 

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford also revealed good news for Playstation users. Players will reportedly be recieving a bonus 26th hero when they participate in the "Battleborn" early access.

Pre-orders for the digital version of the title are available on PS4. Those who order the game early will get the Firstborn Pack, as reported by VG24/7, which include skins for Thorn, Reyna, Marquis, Montana and Rath.

"Battleborn's" release date is slated for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 3,2016.

"Battleborn" is a first-person shooter video game by Gearbox and 2K games. It is a first-person shooter with multiplayer online battle arena elements where players must go head to head with one another using a first-person perspective. The game also features a leveling system that resets when a match begins. All players start on the same basic level and during matches they are able to unlock skills, abilities and points. Once enough the character skillpoints are enough, the character is allowed to level up.
