Miss A's Suzy toughened up and fought through manmade rainfall that lasted four hours during a recent filming of the ongoing drama, "Gu Family Book."

MBC released a string of photos showing Suzy's still images in full drama costumes soaking in a heavy downpour.

In the photos seem to be scenes momentarily after her shocking discovery of Lee Seung Gi's metamorphosis into a half-man half-beast. It remains uncertain whether Suzy will come to accept the disturbing truth about Lee Seung Gi.

An associate from the drama revealed that a water truck was summoned in order to simulate realistic heavy rain. The total duration of the scene involving artificial rainfall was four hours. "Taking place in the middle of the night, which is still deceptively cold in parts of Korea, the filming session was smooth as Suzy got the O.K. from the director after the first go," he added.

"Suzy did not frown or fret once about the unfavorable working conditions and kept up her energy. It was an encouragement to the rest of staff members who were all exhausted as well."

The episode of 'Medical Novel' will air on April 29.
