Katie Holmes has been having a grand time lately dabbing at directing and spending time with her daughter Suri Cruise. But latest news and rumors reveal that she may be dealing with yet another bump on the road soon.

As told in a report on Hollywood Life, the "All We Had" actress will reportedly be hit soon by a custody battle from ex-husband Tom Cruise for their daughter, Suri Cruise.

"Katie will have to get up for the fight of her life," an insider told In Touch as quoted by the source above. "After he finishes filming 'Jack Reacher II' in New Orleans, he's planning on making a big effort to re-bond with his daughter and maybe even try for more custody."

The insider even added that part of the reason that Tom Cruise wanted custody of Suri Cruise was to bring her close to Scientology - a news that apparently Katie Holmes doesn't want.

"He wants to be there for [her] and he wants her to be a part of his religion," the source added. "His ultimate goal is to raise Suri in the Church, like his adopted kids [Connor Cruise, 20, and Isabella Cruise, 22]. That freaks Katie out."

Neither the "All We Had" actress nor the "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" actor's camps have confirmed or denied the alleged custody case plans. Prior to this rumor, there were reports as well that the "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" actor was not at all interested about his daughter.

"He doesn't seem interested in being part of Suri's day-to-day life," a National Enquirer source said as cited by Perez Hilton. "Katie does her best to be a hands-on mum but there's no replacing her father. He hasn't been seen in public with his daughter in over two long years - that's a fifth of her lifetime."

After Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise divorced in 2012, Us Weekly revealed the news that the "All We Had" actress got custody of Suri Cruise.
