The Samsung Galaxy S6 surprised a lot of techies this year with its surprising features and specs. Samsung is definitely on the top of their game, as a release date for the Samsung Galaxy S7 is speculated to come in 2016, as the company reveals new phones each year.

In a report by GSM Arena, full specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy s7 has been revealed inside and out.

Starting off with its main display, the S7 is expected to have a 5.1-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that has 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution that would be protected by the new and improved Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

For its under the hood specs, the upcoming Galaxy phone is expected to have a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820/ Exynos 8 Octa 8890 chipset that is packed with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 530/ Mali-T880 MP12 GPU, running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

With its release date rumored for early next year, features of the Samsung Galaxy S7 reportedly includes a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate and SpO2 scanners.

Meanwhile, a report from CNET revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 may be jumping in the force touch feature bandwagon on the phone's release date.

According to the report, the S7 may include a pressure-sensitive display that was reported to potentially win back their customers, noting how that particular series of phone lost to its competitor in the previous year.

In addition to that, added features for the gadget may include a high-speed charging port, a higher-quality camera and a retina scanner.

As stated by the website, the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S7 could potentially cut out the high end offers of their competitors and potentially bring back their high end phones on top of the market.
