Korean pop star Victoria Song will be among the performers for Hunan TV's annual New Year's special in China.

The singer is expected to appear on stage to perform without the other three members of her group f(x) for the annual televised New Year's Eve concert on Dec. 31.

Victoria is not the first K-pop star to attend this year-end concert. In 2014, YG Entertainment's rookie boy band WINNER performed along with SM Entertainment's popular Korean-Chinese group EXO.

After kicking off the new year on TV in China, Victoria will continue the trend in 2016 with the lead female role for her fourth drama Ice Fantasy. The star will play Li Luo, who grows up in the lower middle class, but with her brave and resolute attitude, quickly becomes a powerful sorceress.

The drama will be released in 2016.
