Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Cast News Update: Whoopi Goldberg invited NeNe Leakes to come back to the ABC daytime talk show "The View."

"Why do you think Nene had such a bad time on The View?" a caller asked when Goldberg appeared appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Wednesday night, Dec. 17. 

"Do you think the other girls were acting like mean girls?"

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star claimed that the View co-hosts  weren't kind to her during her guest appearance last month.

Host Andy Cohen told Goldberg Leakes disliked Joy Behar and felt Raven-Symoné gave her "the stink eye." 

Goldberg invited Leakes to return to the ABC show.

"Well, then, you know, come back another day and try again," Goldberg said, before adding, "I don't know what to say."

Tension is rising Kim Fields and Kenya Moore "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 8.

 Kim Fields is still adjusting as a cast member. Kenya and Porsha decided to "reach across the aisle" to plan a trip together to Miami. Kim thinks Kenya should be proud of her for joining the girls for a night out.

There are rumors that Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 could be its last.

According to Radar Online, the Real Housewives of Atlanta's most recent episode saw a second decrease of about 700,000 viewers. 

The RHOA premiere only pulled in about 2.9 million viewers, a drop of about 1 million from the first episode of Season 7.

It doesn't look like Real Housewives of Atlanta is surviving the departure of NeNe Leakes.

OK! Magazine is putting the blame squarely on the shoulders of NeNe Leakes, who left the show at the end of Season 7. Leakes has yet to comment on the low ratings of RHOA.

After the "Real Housewives of Atlanta," sources say producers are reviewing footage and weighing options for discipline.

PerezHilton.com says Cynthia could be demoted to a "friend of the cast" designation from her current status as full cast member and would get a cut in pay.

Apparently, you can antagonize on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but not get physical.

Producers want to see how the fight affects ratings before they decide.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 8 recently added Amiyah Scott and Kim Fields. NeNe Leakes was replaced by the transgender model from New Orleans and the actress. The Real Housewives of Atlanta returning stars include Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, and Phaedra Parks.
