Kim Jong Kook, Kim Jung Nam And Mikey Thankful For Interest In Turbo Comeback

Fans of Turbo are excited as ever for the  '90s K-pop group's comeback, even with a long 15 year gap.

In celebration of the group's 20th year anniversary, the members Kim Jong Kook, Mikey, and Kim Jung Nam returned on Dec. 21 with the release of their 6th album, Again. This marks the group's first album in 15 years and the first time all three members have been featured on an album together.

Within 24 hours, the title track "Again" featuring Kim Jong Kook's Running Man co-star Yoo Jae Suk, hit the top of every major real time music chart in South Korea.

Each member expressed appreciation toward old and new fans for their interest in and support for the group's new album.

"Thank you for an even greater interest than what we had expected," the group said in a unified statement from their management agency The Turbo Company.

"I think it's too early to release how I feel but I thank many people for having interest in the entirety of the album again," said Kim Jong Kook. "Rather than the title song, we put a lot of effort in the entire album so please listen to the entire album before evaluating."

"It's a very happy thing that someone has interest in what we're singing," added Kim Jung Nam. "I am thankful for an interest and love that makes us happy. Please be happy with Turbo songs."

Mikey also chimed in. "It was a great time to be preparing for an album," he said. "I was happy that an album was coming out. I didn't even think of this but I didn't think that this would be reality. I thank you again and again."
