Baek Jin Hee Tries Modern Black And White Combinations In InStyle
By Elsa B. | December 23, 2015 12:41 PM EST
Baek Jin Hee tried modern black-and-white combinations for the January issue of InStyle.
The beauty looked amazing in a knit with oversized arm holes, sheer jacket and dress with interesting sleeve cutouts. Her accessories included knee-high boots and pearl jewelry. The minimalistic color choices were chosen to represent the good and evil of the characters Baek has played.
During the interview, Baek discussed the kinds of roles she wants to tackle in the future.
"I think what the public thinks of me is close to white [pure image]," she revealed. "That's why I feel an ambition for showing a bit more of an intense black image [dark persona]. It would be good to try another fierce villain like Tanasili from [the MBC historical drama] Empress Qi. If I got the chance, I want to also try a funky Lolita concept in a fashion shoot, too."
The star also talked about the eight month break she took recently, which was her first major vacation since her debut. She called it a "refreshing experience" and said that it helped her clear her head and figure out where she wants to take her career in the next few years.
In other fashion news, Baek Jin Hee posed with a sleek sports car in the pages of Marie Claire.
