Former f(x) member Sulli (Choi Jin Ri) may have put her idol days behind her, but she certainly shows no signs of slowing down her acting career. 

Sulli has been announced for a new film where she will star alongside top Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun.

In Real, Sulli will play the role of a rehabilitation therapist at a hospital frequented by Kim's character, a go-getter with plans to construct a large-scale casino, despite clashes with an underground mafia group.

China's Alibaba Pictures is the main investor and distributor for Real, while CJ Entertainment will be investor and distributor for South Korea.

Sulli is no novice actress; her first on-screen role was at age 11 when she appeared as young Princess Seonhwa in the 2005 SBS television drama, Ballad of Seodong.

Most recently, in November 2014, she took the lead role in the film Fashion King, alongside Joo Won and Kim Sung Oh.

Filming for Real begins this month and the movie is expected to hit theaters later this year.
