ZE:A's Park Hyungsik has been confirmed to star in an upcoming historical television drama.

Hyungsik will star in the upcoming KBS 2TV show Hwarang: The Beginning. Hyungsik will star alongside actor Park Seo Joon and actress Go Ara.

The series will follow the story of the historical "Hwarang," the young male warriors of the Silla Kingdom (B.C. 57- A.D. 935). 

Hwarang: The Beginning is scheduled to broadcast between July and August.

Hyungsik is no stranger to the small screen and has appeared in various dramas in recent years. He had a supporting role in the 2012 SBS drama I Remember You and 2013 SBS drama The Heirs. Most recently, he played a lead role in the 2015 SBS drama High Society.
