"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is on track to be the biggest movie of all time, already having grossed over $700 million worldwide. But there's one country it has yet to arrive in: China.

In fact, according to reports, there are low expectations for the film's performance in the country's box office.

Perhaps that is why the franchise has tapped Luhan, one of the country's most successful pop stars, to promote the film. Today, Luhan's "The Inner Force" promotional music video began streaming online, just in time for the Jan. 9 Chinese premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." For fans wondering if being an ambassador for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" seems a bit out of character for Luhan, the singer recently mentioned that he has a lot of different interests across the entire entertainment industry.

"I hold great interest in everything and there many areas where I'm still lacking in many aspects. I want to encounter diverse experiences and challenge myself until I find out what my limit is," said Luhan (via Allkpop).

Luhan's promotions for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" began with a 60-second video of Luhan discovering the force and interacting with many features from the movie like BB8 and Storm Troopers. He then released a teaser for the full music video that was revealed today.

Other than his "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" promotions, it appears that Luhan is focusing on resting at the beginning of 2016 in order to work on maturing in his abilities.

"I want to get a good rest in the new year. Because I was so busy in 2015, I think I need to take some time off. I want to show a more matured side of me in 2016 than the me I showed in 2015," he explained.
