Zooey Deschanel is back at work on the set of "New Girl" season 5. With her newborn Elsie with her daddy Jacob Pechenik, Zooey Deschanel may feel a lot better stepping into "New Girl" season 5.

According to Daily Mail, "She took time out from filming to have her daughter Elsie Otter in July. But Zooey Deschanel was back on set and hard at work on Wednesday filming scenes for her comedy New Girl. The actress showed off her casual style wearing a black puffy coat and pretty floral dress while filming her hit Fox comedy in Pasadena on Wednesday."

From the photos, it looks like "New Girl" season 5 star looked slightly apprehensive as she went over her lines. Maybe the new mother was thinking about her baby at home!

Zooey Deschanel have been turning to her baby daddy Jacob Pechenik for all the drama that has been popping up in her life. From lawsuits to "New Girl" season 5, Zooey Deschanel probably longs to be back in Texas in peace right before she gave birth to her baby girl.

According to Deadline, "The New Girl star's former reps sued Monday for unpaid commissions from her Fox comedy as well as compensation from the multimillion-dollar sale of her Hello Giggles website this fall."

Having a TV producer as a husband means that the actress will have a sturdy support throughout this lawsuit.

Zooey Deschanel is back to work on "New Girl" season 5, but that doesn't mean that she feels any less for her baby daddy Jacob Pechenik. In fact, Zooey Deschanel may be suffering from a case of "distance makes the heart grow fonder".

Having a baby made the actress so optimistic that she even bonded with her potential "New Girl" competition Megan Fox.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Zooey Deschanel gushed about connecting with Megan Fox. She said, "She seems like a really good mom... I think when you don't have kids you're like, 'Why are they talking about their kids so much?' And then when you do have one you're like, 'All I want to do is talk about my kid!'"

Zooey Deschanel may have made the decision to choose "New Girl" season 5 over her baby and husband Jacob Pechenik after the celebration of the 100th episode of "New Girl".
