3rd 'One Punch Man' OVA Teasers Featuring Speed-o-Sound Sonic Revealed [PHOTOS]

The main "One Punch Man" anime season may have ended, but there's still several OVAs that have yet to be released.

After a glimpse of how Saitama got his suit, and who stole Saitama's fry, fans will now get to know more about the origin of Speed-o-Sound Sonic.

According to reports, promotional photos for the third "One Punch Man" anime DVD were revealed today, including a first look at the third "One Punch Man" OVA featuring Speed-o-Sound Sonic. Fans can check out the teaser photos above. The new "One Punch Man" OVA will ship with the Blu-ray/DVD on Feb. 24.

As with every announcement about a release in Japan, fans are wondering if the release of the "One Punch Man" OVAs will ever make it to the west.

"So will we get this OVA in the west when it comes out," asked Abomination 713.

The answer to that question is of course always up in the air, but given the licensing for the "One Punch Man" manga and streaming anime that is currently owned by Viz Media, there's always a chance the company could pick up the home video rights. Given the popularity of "One Punch Man," it seems likely that someone will pick them up at some point.

Nevertheless, Anime News Network reported last year that six separate "One Punch Man" OVAs would be bundled with the home video releases in Japan. The remaining four OVAs that will soon be released are titled as follows:

"Kojire-sugiru Ninja" (The Ninja Who is Too Complicated)

"Gōin-sugiru Bang" (Bang, Who is Too Overbearing)

"Iroiro Ari-sugiru Kyōdai" (The Sisters Who Have Too Many Things Happening)

"Fukanō-sugiru Satsujin Jiken" (The Murder Case that is Too Impossible)

For those who are not familiar with "One Punch Man," it was originally a digital manga series by ONE that was adapted for print by Yuusuke Murata. The series follows the overwhelmingly powerful Saitama, who finds himself sullen because he defeats every enemy in one punch.
