f(x)'s Luna (Park Sun Young) is going to make her first appearance in a film as she takes on the role as a heroine Han Na in the upcoming film Lightning Man.

The family film is a spinoff from the EBS show Let's Get Together Ding Dong Deng, and is directed by Cho Keun Hyun. 

The storyline revolves around Lightning Man, played by  actor Jung Hyun Jin, and his super powers as he tries to save the world from the "Know-it-all Evil."

"I strived to make Han Na a character that children could identify with," said Luna, as reported by Soompi.

"It's an honor for me to make my big-screen debut through Korea's representative superhero."

Lightning Man will hit theaters on Feb. 11,

In addition, this isn't the first time Luna has taken on acting. Luna has starred in various musical roles such as SM Entertainment's School Oz (2014), took on the role of Gabriella Montaz for Korean version of High School Musical On Stage (2012), and Legally Blonde (2011) by doing the role of Elle Woods. Luna is currently playing the role as Nina Rosario for musical In the Heights.
