After a series of seemingly solemn teasers, rookie group IMFACT released their debut music video that is anything but serious. On January 27, the group uploaded "Lollipop" to their official YouTube channel. The boys are not the first (and certainly won't be the last) to compare their loves to candy, but how did they compare to other "sweet" tracks? Let's take a look:

Starting back in 1996, H.O.T set a standard for sweet videos with "Candy." Clad in oversized overalls, it's a mystery how any girl wouldn't fall for the men of this group instantly! But if their colorful clothes aren't enough to win over the hearts of their target the catchy melody and simple beat is sure to succeed. To seal the deal, the members of H.O.T woo their girl with their silly actions and a love for their fans not often seen in music videos.

Teaming up 2009, Big Bang and 2NE1 infused the cool, hip hop-esque sounds we know and love from YG Entertainment into their sweet song "Lollipop." Like H.O.T, however, "Lollipop" embraces the same popping rainbow of colors that overwhelm viewer's senses with sweet, sugary feelings. But, neither group needs to go after any love interest because together Big Bang and 2NE1 make the ultimate couple.

B1A4 tone down the bright, in your face pops of color in favor of a softer set of color pallets. Their 2015 trach "Sweet Girl" further sheds the heavy, driving beats and loud lyrics for something more sultry and smooth. You won't find the same level of sugary pop in this track. Sweet in a gentle way, it's no surprise B1A4 are already spending their time with their "sweet girls."

So where does IMFACT stand compared to their popular predecessors? Unlike H.O.T and B1A4, IMFACT has to work a little harder to woo their women, but it seems like their cute personalities and high energy will accomplish the task in no time. The boys of IMFACT don't exude the same cool vibe as Big Bang and 2NE1 either but they definitely bring their own unique flavors to their debut track that is difficult not to love. Sporting brightly colored hair against a pastel colored set, IMFACT returns sugary sweet vibrancy to their video. And with a beat just as addictive as candy, it's hard not to listen to "Lollipop" over and over again.
