The 'Reply' series is well known for having a similiar plotline in each iteration where the female lead's future husband is revealed at the end of the series. But who would the actress that played the lead role of Duk-sun have chosen as her husband in real life?

In a recent interview with Star News on Jan. 28, Hyeri, who played the lead role of Duk-sun, fielded questions about the drama, her co-stars, and who she would choose as her husband in real life. 

Near the end of the interview, Hyeri was asked to choose betweed Taek or Jung Hwan as her preferred husband.

"I wish I could have a mix of both," Hyeri responded. 

The interviewer then followed up asking, "Are there any of the four, Taek, Jung Hwan, Sun Woo, or Dong Ryong that would not be a candidate for marriage?"

"I really can't choose even one. I would like to have half Taek and half Jung Hwan mixed into one," Hyeri answered. "Then I'd fall in love immediately." 

Hyeri mentioned that she received the question about who she would choose as her real-life husband a lot, but that it's impossible for her to choose.

"Reply 1988" finished its 20-episode run earlier in January. Although the ending was met with wide criticism due to the main character's choice of husband in the final episode, the series broke multiple records in television viewership rates.
