Vampire Diaries showrunner Julie Plec told Variety that she would welcome Nina Dobrev back for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

"It just feels good to be able to tell the story about two brothers who are more bonded," Plec told the trade, "and it's just been so fun to write this year. The writers, we're just enjoying the hell out of it."

However, Celeb Dirty Laundry claims Nina is still upset with her ex, Ian Somerhalder and now regrets her time with TVD.
