Lupita Nyong’o is the master of good timing. Before the Academy Awards got embroiled in “Oscars So White” hashtag, “Star Wars” actress got to snag an Oscar for best actress and survived to tell the tale to others.

“I feel really grateful to be in the position that I find myself in, where I can find the little weight that I have to get stories that I feel are untold or yet to be told made and done,” she said according to Huffington Post. “So for example, with 'Eclipsed' this was something that I brought to the table, because it had moved me in a way that I wanted to perform it and share it with people. So I feel that’s the role that I can play.”

It is true that Lupita Nyong’o, despite the heavily racial society that she lives in, got to have the rare honor of winning an Oscar.

But that doesn’t mean that the actress is perfect. She had to put a brave face on during the run of “Eclipsed” at the Public Theatre. Seeing how there has been rumors that “Star Wars” actress was mean to her cast members, Lupita Nyong’o must have made more efforts to appear chic.

“Lupita Nyong'o made a stylish arrival for her matinee performance of Eclipsed. The 32-year-old actress mixed uptown chic and downtown trendy for her night on the stage in New York on Sunday.. Her performance as a 15-year-old orphan girl in the off-Broadway production has garnered rave reviews,” according to Daily Mail.

Now that play is headed for Broadway, which will give Lupita a chance to also win a Tony. Seeing how she avoided “Oscars So White” controversy, it looks like she will have a fairly good chance of snagging that acting award as well.

The last thing that “Star Wars” actress has to figure out is her personal romantic life. In fact, Lupita Nyong’o may be toying with the idea of getting back together with Jared Leto!

The pair was spotted at an event in New York, which showed that Jared Leto didn’t mind the rumors surrounding Lupita Nyong’o and her “backstage antics” at Public Theater.

“Oscar winners Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong’o hit up the red carpet at the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall,” according to Just Jared.
