Sometime back it was reported that the sequel for the blockbuster film of Sylvester Stallone ''Creed'' will be released sometime in Nov. 2017.

The original movie ''Creed'' was released in 2015 and did a business of $173.6 million. Boxoffice mojo reported that news. ''After a successful comeback in "Creed," which has grossed $103 million at the U.S. box office, Sylvester Stallone revealed in a new interview with Variety that he's already getting ready to step back in the ring for another sequel where he'll play Rocky Balboa'' reported Variety.

''It's not clear if Ryan Coogler, who is in negotiations for Marvel's "Black Panther," will return as director of the next "Creed." "I know Ryan is probably going to be gone for a couple years," Stallone says. "So there will be a quandary on: Do we work with another director and have Ryan produce, or do we wait? There's a diminishing time acceptance of a sequel. Now they are cranking them out in a year'' the article further revealed information.

''With $120 million at the worldwide box office and now a Best Supporting actor Golden Globe for Sylvester Stallone, it's no wonder that MGM CEO Gary Barber is moving so aggressively to get a sequel to Creed on the fast track. Barber has told Variety that the current plan is for Creed 2 to land in theaters in November of 2017, which may spell the end of director Ryan Coogler helming the second installment'' confirmed comingsoon.net.

''The CEO added that the release date isn't set in stone yet, but he says it's his "goal" to roll out the follow-up in November 2017'' confirmed Movieweb as per the the conversation with MGM CEO Gary Barber. ''As of now, the November 2017 release schedule already has a number of high-profile titles. Thor: Ragnarok and My Little Pony are currently scheduled to open on November 3, 2017, with the Murder on the Orient Express remake set for November 10, 2017. Justice League Part 1 and Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas are set for release on November 17, 2017, with Coco set for November 22, 2017. It would seem likely that MGM would schedule Creed 2 for either November 22, 2017 or November 29, 2017, but that hasn't been confirmed yet'' speculated movieweb based on the movies which are scheduled to be released in Nov. 2017.

As the fans already know, the Rocky Franchise is extremely successful with seven movies till date released.  ''Rocky Franchise'' was a super duper success and all the seven films : Rocky (1976), Rocky II (1979), Rocky III (1982), Rocky IV (1985), Rocky V (1990), Rocky Balboa (2006) and Creed (2015) did great in the box office. This boxing saga was written by Ryan Coogler'' confirmed YHM.

EW had another story covered about the lawsuit of this franchise. ''A New Jersey man is suing the filmmakers of the Rocky sequel, including producer-star Sylvester Stallone and writer-director Ryan Coogler, alleging that they "took [his] idea and turned it into a multi-million dollar motion picture" without compensating him'' reported the article.

So will this lawsuit delay the filming of ''Creed 2?''
