Kelly Clarkson and Pink are friends, and Clarkson took to Twitter to defend Pink recently. Pink had to cancel a show in England due to illness and was unable to reschedule it, and fans were angry - so Clarkson defended Pink.

Fans were complaining about Pink, the 33-year-old singer, scrapping her Birmingham, England show last month, even though Pink's doctor had told her she had to. Kelly Clarkson, 31, sent out a supportive message for Pink, saying sarcastically, "How dare you only work 364 days this year. I can't believe you got sick. That never happens to anyone ....ever. You're so lazy." on her WhoSay account.

Clarkson then went on to say (jammed together as a super-long hashtag),"Name one person that has her schedule, sings while flying and is a mom."

The "American Idol" star continued her rant, saying "Seriously people. Tired of seeing everyone giving her crap. We're all human. Relax."

Pink explained that she was was suffering from an ear and respiratory infection and rotovirus. Rotovirus causes vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and a fever; young children often get it, but it's fairly rare in adults.

Pink tweeted an apology in a message to fans-well, OK, it was half defensive, half apology. She's clearly upset over fans that don't understand her illness.

"The next time I schedule dates- ill [sic] have to say to myself-'if, God forbid I have to cancel one show, those fans will turn on me like rabid dogs and question the moral fabric of my character.' For the loyal and understanding fans-I am so so sorry if I've hurt you in any way. For the rest of you-Kindly kiss my entire almost back to healthy a**."

Pink and Kelly Clarkson have been friendly and supportive to each other before, so it's well known they're friends. Most recently, Pink tweeted a congrats at Kelly after Clarkson won a Grammy earlier this year.
